About the Project: The Patient Derived Organoid Project is based on the cancer patient derived organoid culturing technology. We build in vitro three-dimensional models to highly simulate patients’ tumor tissues in terms of histology, cytology and molecular biology to provide truer in vitro models for patients. At present, the project has played a great role in the individualized treatment of cancer patients and the precision research and development of new drugs.
1. We use patient derived organoid models and multiple treatment plans selected by high throughput screening to obtain individualized precision treatment plans for patients.
2. We build a patient derived organoid bank, provide relevant services for precision research and development of new drugs and carry out the principle of from clinical practice to clinical practice in research and development of new drugs.
3. We discover new biomarkers and potential drug targets for cancer treatment.
Based on the above advantages, the PDO model can mainly be used in clinical individualized medicine of cancer patients and precision research and development of drugs. At the same time, it will come into play in regenerative medicine, immunotherapy and other fields.
